Easy, Izzie.

//CREATIVE CODING

I've been working a lot with edits in Glitche and I think I've found my calling. Through the whole process, I would like to add that I've realized this while I was on vacation, I kept working on edits and finalized my resume.

The work I want to do is UI/UX Design... with a twist. Since I've been attending Zone01, I'm building up a coding background and foundations of making my designs feasible and easily understandable for both developers and designers.

Additionally, after quite some time, I got to see two of my best friends on my partner's birthday party, and one of them being a web developer. He works in a design firm called K2, and he collaborates with 2 UI/UX Designers in his team. The information he gave me was crucial, and he believes that developing a strong coding background is necessary before creating any designs.

I strongly think so as well, and if you don't already know this, 7 out of 10 designers don't have intermediate coding knowledge in order to implement their designs correctly. I'm still learning about Figma, TouchDesigner and recently checked a program called "Processing" that works like TouchDesigner with mostly coding as the main way to work, instead of visual elements.

So, in this instance I may not be as active as I've used to in terms of blogging, but I'll definitely enrich my portfolio section along with Figma links of my works.

See you around!
