Easy, Izzie.

//CREATIVE PROCESS & ORGANIZATION

Didn't expect a second post in a row for two days right?

I haven't done this in a long time, however it's good to take care of your space, in more ways than one.

I'd like to tell you about a personal experience that I rarely do, but whenever I decide to follow through with it, it helps tremendously with my creative process. For the past 3 days, I've been organizing my Bluesky account and noticing the people I followed, in the first days of Bluesky and when I started using it.

Truth is, the reason behind that decision was that there was a lot of political and disaster talk on my feed. I don't need too much of that. So I skimmed through the people I follow, and even though I haven't really finished, I stopped following almost 200+ accounts.

Then I started looking into the kind of people I was following and most of them now are artists, music producers, VAs, animators, game developers, warlocks and witches, streamers and writers. If not all of them, at least 80% of them have a pet and 20% of them have children. About half of them have been in a difficult situation with money or their health in the past, and they create art in lots of different forms and variations.

These actions allowed me to see through patterns and reasons on why I've followed certain people and keep up with what they do. I'm going to start creating starter packs for other people to follow, with categories of people that deserved to be followed and for everyone to see their work.

Today I took care of my outside storage as well. I skimmed through things I didn't need because of usage and because I've already covered their function with things I use almost every day. Found an old pair of shoes I'm going to give to someone who needs them, and picked up my gardening tools and set them up in place. Furthermore, I found an old graphics card and a pc power supply I used to keep in good condition, plenty of reusable grocery bags, that I've tied together and pieces of a mini ping pong table that due to the fact I've lost them, I've never set it up.

Although as actions they were quite tiresome, I felt really nice and lots of ideas regarding how and where I'm going to move creatively came down. So I jotted them down on a Notion page, that I started working with A LOT more than before due to work, and I'll be showing you these ideas in the future, slowly and steadily.

No matter if you have a partner, a person you want to be your Valentine, or lots of love to give, I hope you have a fantastic Valentine's Day tomorrow and get all the love you deserve to have, no matter what.

Thank you for reading so far! PEACE.
