Easy, Izzie.

//WHOAMI?

Hello, nice to see you here.

My name is Isidore, and I've been working as a Customer Support agent in online gambling facilities. I've handled escalations, technical issues, gambling problems, and similar challenges for more than two years straight.

Gambling in Greece has always been a topic discussed frequently in popular media, sparking my curiosity about how it all works—what it takes to create an online casino, how payments, deposits, bonuses, and regulations are managed, and how players can win large sums in their own currency from the comfort of their homes. However, since I started working in this industry, I realized how different the reality is.

I have a lot to share from the perspective of someone who checks the rights and wrongs of players, understands what works and what doesn't in terms of regulations, and has direct insight into player behavior. For the safety of player data and in accordance with company policies, I will never reveal names, amounts, specific cases, or organizations related to my work.

Besides that, I've been fascinated by technology and computers since 2003, when my father brought home our first PC for me and my brother. I started exploring code and learning about computers, among other things through "Ramkid"—a series of educational books featuring a dog and a cat named Peris and Katia. The "Ram" and "Bit" magazines distributed with "Ramkid" introduced me to more complex concepts, like how PC hardware connects, software usage, and video games.

So in general, I've been working with PCs, games, software, and coding since then, in various ways.

Currently, I attend Zone01 coding school, which involves four stages:

I'm happy to share that I'm entering the third month of the third stage, still excited to keep learning about coding, applying it to future projects, and sharing information and resources for everyone to enjoy.

Finally, I'd like to add that I've been drawing since I was 5 years old—and still create visual art in various forms. My mother was a painter who became an icon painter after my brother and I were born, so the skill (and passion) has been passed down to me. I mostly make tattoo designs, black-and-white illustrations, emotes, and memes in my free time.

Pursuing a career in UI/UX Design feels right for me—it lets me combine my creativity in visualization, illustration, and visual arts with the work I do or the projects I build. Visual communication is key to shaping experiences and feelings when interacting with software. Making things "friendly" for everyone, regardless of skill level, comes from the same place as my choice to work in Customer Support instead of sales or marketing:

I want to help others. If I can be creative while doing that, it's even better.
